Homeschooling in Japan

We do homeschooling 24 hours a day or at least all through our waking hours. It doesn't only include working with books, charts or manipulatives. It involves fixing their bed (or in our case futon), brushing their teeth, helping mom cook or set the table, cleaning up the table, vacuuming the tatami floor and a whole lot more. Andy and the kids have the bedtime routine of reading aloud 6 books every single night, it's good that he is a teacher he has a good pool of books and would never run out.
